ADA Basic Building Blocks
- This free introductory webcourse on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is designed to provide you with the basic principles and core concepts of the ADA. It is a project of the DBTAC National Network of ADA Centers and available in both English & Spanish. This 12-topic course may be accessed at any time using a computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. Each topic contains 2-8 pages of relavant information and real-life examples.

Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC)
- DBTAC is a national network of 10 regional DBTAC ADA Centers that provide the most complete and experienced services for up-to-date information, referrals, resources, and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to businesses, employers, government entities, and individuals with disabilities, as well as media and news reporters.
Disability Compass
- Disability Compass is a web-based resource for people with disabilities, their families, and their supporters. The site provides access to thousands of disability-related organizations, services, programs, and products and features a community calendar, a tool called My Compass that allows individuals to store frequently used searches as well as lists of personal resources and a registry of individuals and organizations that provide respite and other individualized care for people with disabilities.

- The mission of Disaboom.com is to create the first comprehensive, evolving source of information, insight, and personal engagement for the disability community.
National Center for
Parents with Disabilities and their Families (NCPDF)
- NCPDF, which is part of Through the Looking Glass, empowers parents and potential parents who have disabilities by disseminating disability-appropriate information regarding parenting to parents, disability advocates, and legal, medical, intervention and social services providers. The Center's overall goal is to increase information and support more disability-appropriate resources for parents with disabilities and their children throughout the United States.
National Council on Disability (NCD)
- NCD is an independent federal agency that provides advice to the President, Congress, and executive branch agencies to promote policies, programs, practices, and procedures that guarantee equal opportunity for all individuals with disabilities, regardless of the nature or severity of the disability and to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency, independent living, and inclusion and integration into all aspects of society.
National Disability Rights Network (NDRN)
- NDRN is the nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and Client Assistance Programs (CAP) for individuals with disabilities. Through training and technical assistance, legal support, and legislative advocacy, NDRN works to create a society in which people with disabilities are afforded equality of opportunity and are able to fully participate by exercising choice and self-determination.
The Arc
- The Arc is the world’s largest community based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
World Institute on Disability (WID)
- WID is an internationally recognized public policy center organized by and for people with disabilities. It works to strengthen the disability movement through research, training, advocacy and public education to help people with disabilities throughout the world enjoy increased opportunities to live independently. WID's work focuses on issues and problems that directly affect people’s ability to live full and independent lives.
